Oddwood Visual Style for Windows XP version 1.0
Copyright 2003, WB Skinner and LightStar Technologies

Greetings Folks,

Big news for me (WB) as I have never done a theme in ka-hoots with anyone up until now. Lightstar and myself hooked up a week ago after he asked me for some advice concerning his wonderful LonghornPro theme (its gorgeous...go get it on ThemeXP.org).
While discussing that topic I mentioned that a chap had commented on my Glitz style.

This is what he wrote:

"Without the Wallpapers and/or a link to download them your work will ALWAYS be incomplete. I have read your comments about how you are in the "Skinning" business and not the theme business but they always look half done without the wallpapers/icons. Have you ever thought about teaming up with Lightstar and putting out complete themes? The two of you would rock."

Lately I've got to admit I HAVE been aching to put some real 'themes' together. Thus, when I proposed the idea of a joint effort to Lightstar, I was elated to have him respond so positively and with a real flare of professional enthusiasm. His extensive experience with skins and theming was invaluable in the creation of the Oddwood theme.

So here you have it!...a WB Skinner skin with a Lightstar touch...shellstyle, icons, wallpaper and a .theme file to apply it all with a click. Lightstar did a great job with the shellstyle and bits of the skin, helping me with advice and troubles as I sweated razors stretching and tiling wooden pieces.

Oddwood is a wooden version of my previous skin, XoddX, and its turned into probably the weirdest (and most completly) wooden skin of the five or six I've seen out there for Windowblinds or StyleXP.

The icons included are Noia Warm done by Carlitus (with permission granted to Lightstar) and are available in collection AND Icon Packager format at deskmod.com:

PLEASE NOTE: If you want all the icons on the start panel to change you will need the Icon Packager program

So anyway I hope you enjoy Oddwood and if you need help installing it see below.

CHEERS!
